Coincharge Supporter Shop
The Coincharge Supporter Shop is a donation site to demonstrate how to get donations via Bitcoin and Lightning.
If you are a non-profit institution and would like to collect donations, if you are a blogger or YouTuber and would like to get a little support from your fans, the Coincharge Supporter Shop will show you what this could look like.
This Supporter Shop was set up with WooCommerce and includes the payment processing via BTCPay.
In this Coincharge Supporter Shop, payments can be made by Bitcoin and by Lightning.
In the store, one-time payments and also recurring payments can be made with Bitcoin and Lightning.

At the checkout the Customer has the option to pay with Bitcoin or with Bitcoin Lightning.
Bitcoin payment
If you select the Bitcoin option at the checkout, the payment page that was labeled Bitcoin Payment at checkout will open by default. On this payment page the customer can later switch to Lightning payment.
The payment page is set up so that you can pay immediately with Bitcoin. You have 15 minutes to make the payment. Until then this payment page is valid.
To make a Lightning payment instead of using Bitcoin, you must switch to Lightning in the top right corner.
The QR code for your Lightning payment will then appear. You can copy the Lightning invoice instead of scanning it. Click on the corresponding tab. There you can copy the invoice code and pay with your Lightning Desktop Wallet.
Lightning payment
With Lightning, smaller amounts can ideally be paid by Bitcoin. A Lightning payment can be 1 Satoshi, which is less than one Eurocent. The payment is executed immediately and credited to the merchant. The costs for a payment are also minimal and are in the microcent range.
At the checkout the customer decides to pay by Bitcoin.
On the Bitcoin payment page you can then switch to payment by Lightning.
On the “Pay with Lightning” payment page, the customer is presented with two options.
He can scan the QR code with his Mobile Lightning Wallet or copy the Lightning invoice and pay via his Desktop Lightning Wallet.
An overview of the most important Mobile Lightning Wallets can be found on the Mobile Lightning Wallets page and from there, there are links to the individual Lightning Wallets with instructions for installation and applications.
If you use a Desktop Lightning Wallet or want to pay the bill via Ride the lightning (RTL), then copy the entire text and paste it into the appropriate place on your wallet.
We use the Lightning Wallet from Wallet of Satoshi and pay the Lightning invoice using the QR Code.
The equivalent of 60 Euro cents is 7,398 sats and there is an additional fee of 1 Satoshi.
The payment is therefore almost free of charge and within a second it is credited to the account (Lightning Node) at the dealer.
Recurring payment (subscription)
All products are offered as one-time payment and as recurring payment (subscription).
With Recurring Payment, you will receive an email reminder on each due payment date to manually initiate a new Bitcoin payment.
Please make sure that you enter your email address on the checkout page during the first payment, otherwise our automated email will not reach you.
